Amarone wines have a prolonged production technique. The grapes are left to ripen on the vine for considerably longer than most wines. They shrivel and become almost like raisins on the vine before being picked and then further dried on beds of straw. Only then does the fermentation process commence. This Amarone delivers a juicy, full-bodied experience, with big blue and black fruit, baking spice, anise, cinnamon and a long, spicy finish.
